Introducing the collaborative and empowering Narcan Training, a groundbreaking initiative brought to you by The Festival Center, Hips DC, and Decrim Poverty DC. This unique partnership aims to equip individuals with life-saving skills and knowledge to address opioid overdoses effectively.

At a time when communities face the devastating impact of opioid addiction, this training program stands as a beacon of hope and a catalyst for positive change. With a shared commitment to harm reduction, public health, and social justice, The Festival Center, Hips DC, and Decrim Poverty DC join forces to provide an inclusive and comprehensive Narcan Training.

The Narcan Training program is designed to educate participants about opioid overdoses, their warning signs, and the proper administration of naloxone, commonly known as Narcan. Through an engaging and interactive format, participants will gain a deeper understanding of the opioid crisis, its roots, and the implications it has on marginalized communities.

This training is open to individuals from all walks of life, including community organizers, healthcare professionals, concerned citizens, and those who have experienced or witnessed the devastating effects of opioid addiction firsthand. By fostering a diverse and inclusive learning environment, the program seeks to empower individuals with the tools needed to respond effectively in critical situations.

Join The Festival Center, Hips DC, and Decrim Poverty DC in this transformative journey of learning, compassion, and solidarity. Together, we can make a difference and build a healthier, safer, and more equitable future for all.
