April 12, 2023 @ 7:00PM — 8:30PM Eastern Time (US & Canada) Add to Calendar

Getting involved in justice work can feel daunting and lonely but it doesn’t have to be.
The Festival Center Collectives are open groups dedicated to a specific work or issue. The Festival Center Collectives program consists of three collectives — Discernment, Climate justice, and Community Organizing. Our focus is primarily on educating and guiding teams of students in developing both a philosophy and a praxis for justice work.
The collective requires a one-year commitment. A collective year consists of two semesters: a "January - April" winter semester and a "September - November" fall semester. Included in the year are seven monthly 90-minute classes, one cohort Salon per semester, two team check-ins per semester, and at least one "show-up" event per semester.
Students will build relationships and establish a network of people committed to the same work.
Students will strengthen knowledge & skills related to collective focus.
Students will learn how to translate knowledge into action via participation in "show up" event
