From the very beginning, the Festival Center was envisioned to be a "seminary from the streets," to teach and mobilize faith leaders to serve and love people and to build movements that would change the world. Literally thousands of people have either literally walked through our doors or entered into our Zoom rooms and opened their hearts to new ideas, new voices, new perspectives, and have been changed. I have talked with so many people who have experienced this. And so, to celebrate the transformative experiences so many of us have found over the years in the Servant Leadership School (or what we now call the School for Liberation), we will be hosting a virtual Servant Leadership School Reunion, September 14 from 6-8 EST. |
